The Outlaw launcher works by pneumatically propelling a 14 foot fiberglass piston with an attached 4130 steel hook.  The hook is welded to a tube bonded inside the piston. The Hook interfaces with the Aerial Vehicles through a aluminum launch lug riveted to the composite structure. The launcher is designed to for both pusher and tractor aircraft, as well as aircraft equipped with and without landing gear. The pneumatic systems uses two off-the-shelf high pressure bottles for the storage of compressed air and feeds the Griffon designed accumulator through high pressure hoses. Once charged the pilot controls the release event through a foot petal located up to 25 feet away from the  launcher
